From dirt bikes
to the Cup car
Born and living in Malibu, California, Riley Giacomazzi developed his passion for motorsports through early exposure to performance vehicles before beginning his competitive career in motocross, where he raced regionally for several years.
He later transitioned into sports car racing, earning his competition license through Porsche club racing and gaining experience in Spec Boxster competition, where he secured Rookie of the Year honors and established a foundation in race craft and car preparation.
Building on that experience, Giacomazzi progressed into Porsche One-Make competition, highlighted by a strong performance at an international Porsche Sprint Challenge event supporting the 24 Hours of Le Mans, where he recorded a top-six overall finish in a highly competitive field. His development has been supported through hands-on experience both on track and within a professional race team environment, gaining a deeper understanding of race operations and technical preparation.
Giacomazzi is a member of the Porsche Junior Program. For the 2026 season he contests Porsche Sprint Challenge North America in the GT3 Cup class, focused on consistency, development, and progressing within the North American Porsche Motorsport Pyramid.

In June 2025 Giacomazzi travelled to the Circuit de la Sarthe to contest the Porsche Sprint Challenge France round supporting the 24 Hours of Le Mans — the same circuit, the same weekend, and one of the largest crowds in motorsport.
Racing the #24 911 GT3 Cup in a field of European one-make regulars, he came away with a top-six overall finish — the strongest international result of his career so far, and the run that Porsche picked up and shared.
